Valley Christian Schools strives for excellence in Christian education by partnering with Christian parents in meeting each individual students needs. The school was founded in 1935 on the concept of parental involvement. Our schools are an extension of Christian family life, and we take seriously our obligation to be partners with parents in providing the best possible education for our students. from Preschool through high school graduation, Valley Christian Schools is dedicated to bringing every student to his or her highest potential: academically, socially, and spiritually. More than 98% of Valley Christian High School graduates go on to further education directly following graduation.

Valley Christian Schools has over 1,300 students in preschool through 12th grade. We are located 25 miles south of Los Angeles near the border of Los Angeles and Orange Counties in beautiful Southern California. Our facilities cover 40 acres of fully owned property comprising three campuses located within a mile of each other. Our preschool is on the campus of a local church. An extensive bus system makes it convenient for students to attend from a wide geographic area.

Our roots are planted in the Bible and grow out of the Protestant Reformation. Presently, VCS families represent over 250 churches.

Opening: Extended Day-Care Director - Elementary School

Status: Part-TimeValley Christian Elementary is seeking an Extended Day-Care Director beginning the 2018-19 school year. The successful candidate will be deeply committed to their Christian faith, can be flexible with their daily work duties, able to provide leadership in the form of instruction or supervision to specific programs and activities before and after school, as well as throughout the summer. This may involve providing leadership on a one-to-one basis or working with groups of individuals as the instructor in programs and activities. The Extended Day-Care Director also serves as the main point of contact between parents and the school system. This is a part-time position.
