Jim Adare 

 Jim Adare established Jim Adare Consulting as the culmination of 38 years experience in independent education as teacher, coach, headmaster, and consultant to hundreds of independent schools nationwide. Jim's counsel has ranged from providing strategic guidance for a successful $46 million capital campaign to leading the initiative at several schools that have put the Harkness method of teaching in place, to mentoring heads of schools through an Executive Coaching process, to board workshops, head of school searches, strategic planning, and enrollment management counsel. 


 Jim Drexler

James L. Drexler is the Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.  After a 23 year career in middle and secondary education at Westminster Christian Academy in Missouri, Drexler moved to the Education Department at Covenant in 2004. From 2013-2015, Drexler was seconded by Covenant to serve as founding President of the Internati

onal Teachers College in Indonesia. Married for 37 years, he is the father of four and grandfather of two. Among his publications are two books: Schools as Communities (Purposeful Design, 2007) and Nurturing the School Community: Teacher Induction and Professional Learning Communities (Purposeful Design, 2011).

 

Phil Graybeal 

Phil Graybeal is committed to equipping Christian leaders to change the world. He served as a Christian school teacher for three years and Headmaster for 22 years while earning a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Since starting Graybeal and Associates, LLC in 2001, he has traveled widely both nationally and internationally as a full-time consu

ltant to non-profit organizations. His objective is to help create organizational environments that will increase the likelihood of the right people doing the right things in the right way at the right time for the right reasons so that the right results will be achieved for the glory of God.


Amada Torres 

Amada Torres is the Senior Director of Academic Research at the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). In this capacity, she conducts original research and produces reports on national studies of interest to NAIS schools. Prior to joining the NAIS staff in February 2005, Torres was Senior Manager for the Latin American and Iberian Peninsula Group as well as for some industries in the American market at the Corporate Executive Board, a membership-based provider of best practices research and analysis. From 1993 to1998, she worked as an economic consultant in the Office of External Debt with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru.
