CESA & JoMO

CESA DIGITAL WELLNESS WORKING GROUP

Working together under the expertise and guidance of Christina Crook, author of “The Good Burdens” and “The Joy of Missing Out” and founder of JoMO and JoMO(campus), CESA school leaders will have the opportunity to develop recommended policies and family commitments that support the formation of digitally well-Christian school graduates.  This opportunity is a rare chance to work with other like-minded school leadership to develop a strategy that does more than simply take phones away from students but develops people who can wisely interact with the technology our world has to offer.

Key outcomes of this working group include:

  1. A shared language and digital flourishing framework to foster a unified approach across CESA schools,
  2. Tailored policy and program recommendations informed by each school’s unique context,
  3. Practical tools and commitments that engage families in supporting digital wellness, and
  4. An ongoing peer support network to ensure schools feel connected and supported.

Each school is encouraged to register TWO leaders - principals, deans, student life leaders, Christian life leaders, or teacher leaders.  Working together over the six sessions, teams will bring their plans to create digitally well campuses back to their schools for implementation.

Sessions will take place on:

  • Wed, January 15 @ 12 p.m. CST
  • Wed, January 29 @ 12 p.m. CST
  • Wed, February 12  @ 12 p.m. CST
  • Thurs, February 27 @12 p.m. CST
  • Thurs, April 10 @ 12 p.m. CST
  • Wed, April 23 @ 12 p.m. CST

CESA has invested in this opportunity for our schools; the $350/school registration fees includes all sessions and materials will help offset the cost of this opportunity. Registration is open NOW through December 20th.
